PLANT MOLECULAR BIOLOGY

본 연구실에서는 배추과 작물과 모델식물인 애기장대를 대상으로 주요원예형질을 조절하는 유전자를 탐색하여 그 기능을 밝히고, 육종에 활용할 수 있는 분자마커를 개발하며, 유전자 제어(유전자 도입 또는 유전자 편집)를 통해서 novel 작물을 개발하고자 노력하고 있다.
이러한 연구를 위하여 먼저 연구원들(주로 학생)의 토픽에 대한 의욕을 고취하고 연구내용을 사랑하도록 유도하며, 끝까지 문제를 해결하는 인내력을 증진하고 있다.
